Completely private apartments are also equipped with an emergency alert system and every resident has 24-hour access to Oakleaf Village's professional staff.

Assisted Living Apartments

Seniors who need more personalized attention receive it at Oakleaf Village. Licensed in Ohio as a “Residential Care Facility,” residents enjoy studio, one- or two-bedroom private assisted living apartments with additional services to provide comfort, convenience and peace of mind. Caring professional staff is available 24/7.

Each resident is evaluated to determine the specific level of care needed. This evaluation, combined with observations of caregivers, family members and physicians establish the precise level of care and services needed.

This ensures each resident receives the care they need at any time with the help of qualified nursing staff and assistants.

We take special pride in our delicious, home-style meals. They are fresh, flavorful and great tasting.

Residents can eat in the community dining room. They can choose their meals each day, as well as the dining plan that works best for them. Multiple daily meals are available.

Financial Resources

At Oakleaf Village residents pay a flat monthly fee that covers all services and amenities. There is not an entrance or endowment fee, and residents’ assets remain their own. The monthly fee includes utilities — water, gas, trash and electric, up to three home-cooked meals a day, weekly housekeeping and a wide range of activities at Oakleaf and around the community.

The exact cost depends on the size of your apartment and the level of customized personal care needed.

To help you estimate your monthly fee, download and fill out the Oakleaf Village resident application. You can mail, email or fax it to us. Our staff will be in touch to set up an initial meeting and tour of Oakleaf Village.

Because Oakleaf Village is licensed under Ohio law as a "Residential Care Facility" and as an "Assisted Living Facility" through the Ohio Department of Health, private insurance can be accepted. Learn more.

Other payment options are: Approved Waiver Provider, private pay and long term care insurance.

Veterans and their spouses can use their pension benefits to offset the cost of living at an independent or assisted living community like Oakleaf Village. Oakleaf’s apartments were renovated using environmentally-friendly, "green," construction materials that reduce energy consumption, preserve other natural resources and save money over time.

Specifically, Oakleaf’s apartments now have low flow faucets and toilets to reduce water consumption, and ENERGY STAR rated windows, doors and light fixtures. Our common areas do too. The paint and carpeting throughout are "green" with low VOC emissions.

The HVAC systems feature high efficiency, ENERGY STAR rated boilers and air conditioners.

This is one small part of our company’s enterprise-wide commitment to the environment.

Available Care

Whether you or a family member need help taking medicine once a day or more extensive assistance with daily activities, the professional caring staff at Oakleaf Village are there to make life easier for you.

Our staff works with you, your family members and your doctors to determine the level of care needed and the most appropriate setting for you. It could be in independent living or assisted living. The goal is to have residents remain as independent as possible, while providing you with the highest quality of care.

Generally residents who need assistance with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing and grooming live in assisted living. Oakleaf Village staff members can provide assisted living residents with medication administration, dressing changes and special diets.
